London is a great place to live if you're interested in photography. There are hundreds of landmarks, exciting buildings and views to take pictures of. The City has a very diverse culture, and the buildings mirror that. There can be huge office buildings like walls of glass right next to a stone building that's stood since before the great fire in 1666.

The skylight in the dome of the British Library The guy in the centre looks like Jesus crossed with Steven Fry. I didn't notice him until after I'd taken the picture. I just liked the light Again, the light looked amazing here. Wish I'd had time to find a good angle, but we were rushing through

Lord Foster's obsession with triangles The WEEE MAN represents how much WEEE(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) an average UK person will create in their lifetime. There's a European WEEE directive, apprently. Who says environmental concerns aren't taken seriously?

Possibly London's most well known landmark, Big Ben. Although, that name refers to the hour bell, the real name for the building is The Clock Tower. The ajoining buildings are the Houses of Parliament, the House of Commons and House of Lords.


Buckingham Palace Swiss Re('Erotic Gherkin') St. Paul's Cathedral, designed by Sir Christopher Wren after the original was destroyed in the great fire.
Further along the Thames is Tower Bridge, well known for it's central bridge which lifts up to let through larger boats.

Wembley Stadium's construction. The first picture was taken on the 15th of May 2004 and the most recent on 21st July 2004.
